The mission of the Vascular Biology Program is to foster research in the areas of angiogenesis and vascular biology with the ultimate goal of translating basic science discoveries into clinical applications. A specific focus of investigation is the use of bone marrow-derived vascular progenitor cells for the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular disease.
